To enable spam email filtering on your domain name, you will have to make the following changes.

• Control Panel Access:

• DNS Records:

MX Records need to be set to the following:

Note: Replace “domain-com” below with your domain name, also replace the dot in your domain with a dash -.  You can find this information by logging into your spam filtering control panel and going to Settings -> Mail Host.

Hostname: @ or [blank]
Priority: 10
Mail Server: domain-com.p10.mxthunder.com.
TTL: 18000

Hostname: @ or [blank]
Priority: 20
Mail Server: domain-com.p20.mxthunder.net.
TTL: 18000

Hostname: @ or [blank]
Priority: 30
Mail Server: domain-com.p30.mxthunder.net.
TTL: 18000

Hostname: @ or [blank]
Priority: 40
Mail Server: domain-com.p40.mxthunder.net.
TTL: 18000

TXT Records need to be set to the following:

Hostname: @ or [blank]
Value: “v=spf1 a mx include:spf.gagedigital.com include:spf.spamhero.com ~all”  (most of the time you include the quotes)
TTL: 1800

• SMTP Outbound email configuration.

If you wish to send email out using our spam filter service, please configure your email client with the following SMTP server information.

SMTP Server: smtp.mxthunder.net
Username: YourDomain.com
Password: ProvidedPassword
Authentication type: Plain
Two security settings available:
STARTTLS – Port: 25, 286
SSL/TLS – Port 465
