When you get your web hosting services with GageDigital, you may need the following information

• Access your Control Panel:

• POP3, IMAP, and SMTP address for email:

This information will be entered into your Cell Phone or email application on your computers such as Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook.

Mail Server Username:  username+domainname.com OR  username@domainname.com
Incoming Mail Server:  beach.nocdirect.com
Incoming POP3 Port:  995
Incoming IMAP Port:  993

Outgoing Mail Server:  beach.nocdirect.com
Outgoing SMTP Port:  465 or 587

Both incoming and outgoing Security Settings are Required!:  SSL/TLS

• FTP Access

This information will be used by FTP programs such as FileZilla.

Host/IP address: (or domain name)
Protocol: FTP
Encryption: FTP over TLS (FTPS)
Authentication: Use your Control Panel username/password to login.

• Name Servers: 

Give this information to your Registrar. Example: HoverGoDaddy, Domain.com, etc.


• DNS Records:

Give this information to your Registrar. Example: Hover, GoDaddy, Domain.com etc.

A record is used to direct people to your website when they type in your domain name in a web browser.  You will need to have an A record for both domain.com and www.domain.com.

MX Record is used to direct an email to your server when someone sends an email to your domain’s email address @domain.com.

Mail Server: smtp2.gagedigital.com

TXT Record for SPF is used to tell other email servers like gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com, etc.   What servers you allow your email to be sent from, this helps to prevent spammers from using your email domain as the “from address” in an email.

Value: “v=spf1 a mx include:spf.gagedigital.com ~all”  (most of the time you include the quotes)
TTL: 1800

CAA Record for Certificate Authority Authorization is used to enforce who is allowed to generate signed certificates for your domain name.  If you are going to be using a CAA record and you are going to be using Auto SSL then please make sure you allow “sectigo.com” as a certificate authority by adding the following to you CAA records.

Value: “sectigo.com”
Issuer Critical: 0
